Rule Of Thirds
The rule of thirds states that an image is most pleasing when its subjects regions are composed along imaginary lines which divide the image into thirds both vertically and horizontally. To create the rule of thirds you have to place points of interest from the photo on intersection points or along the lines, this creates a more balanced and visually interesting photo. Studies have shown that usually peoples eyes go to one of the intersection points rather than the centre of the shot.
